The Beginner:
If you're just starting out, it might seem overwhelming to play the game AND read thousands of pages of game content and information. My recommendation is to familiarize yourself with two things: Characters and locations.

First and foremost, you need to understand the basics of character type, i.e. the stengths and weaknesses.

All of this can be found at The Urban Dead Wiki.

Find the Character that best fits what you're looking for.
-yes, some suburbs are better than others. (My suggestion is look for a mall)

Find your suburb and know it like the back of your hand.

The Intermediate:

At this point, you're probably looking for a group to be a part of. The Wiki can help you so much with this information. Do some research and find a group that suits your needs, works in your suburb and is highly effective. Believe it or not, it's not so easy to find a combination of those three things. Some good examples of these groups are The Dribbling Beavers in Santlerville. I have worked with them many times and they are highly organized and effective.

Every expert knows that being in a group increases your time alive and decreases the time you stay dead. That means more XP and less headaches.

So, big shot, what can I teach you that you don't already know? When it comes to the wiki, either a lot or just refresh your memory; it really depends on whether you consider yourself a novice at web WYSIWYG editing.

My biggest suggestion for any pro player is start your own group and actively seek out alliances. My last group was integral in The Battle of Santlerville; which anyone with any knowledge of UD lore, knows this was one of the biggest defeats of a zombie swarm ever. This was only possible through the highly organized communication between multiple groups. This diplomacy was only possible through the UD Wiki.
